Miss Universe 2010

Jimena Navarrete, Miss Mexico, has been crowned Miss Universe 2010 . The top four runner ups were Venus Raj, Miss Philippines, Anna Poslavska, Miss Ukraine, Jesinta Campbell, Miss Australia, Yendi Phillips, Miss Jamaica. Odds makers were predicting a showdown between Miss Ireland and Miss Philippines but Miss Ireland didn’t make the top five. Miss USA didn’t even make the top 15 causing us to think this contest was rigged. Other awards given were Miss Congeniality going to Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, with Miss Photogenic going to Miss Thailand, and Miss Thailand also won the Best National Costume Award. We were sorry that Venus Raj did not win tonight as she was our favorite, but she will return home the the Philippines and receive a welcome like no other. Congratulations to Jimena Navarrete the 2010 Miss Universe Crown winner.
